Welcome to my website.  I am a second year student in Florida State University's Ph.D. program in political science.  I study elections and electoral institutions an am interested in formal theory and political methodology.  Substantively, I study the how electoral institutions, particularly electoral formulas, alter the behavior of parties and citizens. Methodologically, I am interested in multilevel models and statistical graphics. I have undergraduate degrees in political science and sociology from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus.  I will finish my M.S. in political science this fall at Florida State University.

The improvement of understanding is for two ends:  first our own increase of knowledge; 

secondly to enable us to deliver that knowledge to others.
