    It has been raining about once a week which is great for the wildflowers. I can not wait to take pictures of children playing in them. I love the way they look at the world as if seeing it for the first time every time. I sometimes wish as an adult that I could still see things the way that they do. As a parent I see the dangers in most things and my children see the fun things in them. It is so hard sometimes to weigh the fun against the dangers and make the decision of allowing them to play with something or not. Even now as my children are older I still do this.

 

 

   My garden looks amazing. The flowers are blooming and the colors are vibrant pinks, oranges, reds, purples.... I love this time of year, when everything is green and new.

    My daughter got back from Europe. She has been to England, Scotland, Germany, Ireland and Wales. Her adventures include many castles, Stonehenge, The Phantom of the Opera in London, climbing Mount Snowden in Wales, and much more. She said that so many things were different there and was surprised to find that most places did not have a bathroom for customers and a lot of the ones that did had a fee to use it. This reminds me of when I was little and lived in the valley. We could go across into Mexico and they charged for toilet paper then. It was 10 cents per square. That was in 1976 so can you imagine how much it would be now.
