The Family Caravan Club Inc is a group of like minded people looking to enjoy our caravans and camper trailers with our children.  The club was formed in 2007 to cater specifically for families as we all found it difficult to find a club that catered for children.  We have families with between 1 and 5 children (yes that is 5 children in a caravan).  We run rallies once a month to various venues around Southeast Qld usually within 2 hours of Brisbane.  Some previous venues have been Woodford Showgrounds, Columboola Country Miles, Pomona and Rathdowney.  Our members have travelled as far as Perth, Mt Isa and the Dinosoar trail (with those 5 children) on their own holidays.  So as you can see we love the caravan lifestyle and the companionship that comes with it.  Our kids have a great time exploring the different venues and riding their bikes, swimming if there are facilities and generally getting the exercise that they miss out on when there is a Playstation or Xbox within 100 meters of them.

As we are a relitively new club we are currently looking for new members; you can attend 3 rallies before you need to join.  This lets you see if you wish to join us and for us to get to know you.  Membership is only $60 a year with a $40 joining fee in your first year.  These fees cover our affiliation with Combined Caravan Clubs of Queensland, Public Liability insurances and all the expenses required to run the club. 

We try to keep the rally fees to a minimum because we all know that making ends meet is not easy.  We stay at many venues usually ranging between $10 and $25 per night.  Rallies are held on the second weekend of every month except December and January when we take a break for School holidays, although it has been suggested that we may do some longer rallies in school holidays.
