We are a group of caravan owners who have banded together to increase our enjoyment from our caravans. Joining a Caravan Club gives you a chance to use your caravan once a month all year round.  Like most Caravan clubs, we have a Rally each month, usually at a location within 50 to 250 kilometres of Brisbane.  Closer in on normal weekends, further out on long weekends.

Rally sites vary from month to month and include campsites with no power, town Showgrounds, Scout Camps and full service Caravan Parks.  The Club is able to use the facilities at many locations that are unavailable to the public.  Rally sites are selected with an eye on value for the facilities and their location.  By making a group booking in advance the Club is often able to negotiate discounts for the attending members.

A member can attend any or all of the rallies organised by the Club, and as affiliated members of the State Association, the Combined Caravan Clubs of Queensland Inc., can attend State, Interstate and National Rallies.  When you are away from home a Club sticker on your van will often serve as an icebreaker and help you to meet other caravanners.

On our Rallies a wide range of activities are organised by our Activities Committee, and members are encouraged to participate as they provide a great chance for socialising with other members. Sitting around a campfire and talking with other caravan owners makes a great chance for socialising, getting tips on caravanning, being exposed to new ideas, or just relaxing in good company.  We also have a group morning tea every day, a Happy Hour each evening, community dinners and many other fun days and nights.  Members are expected to share the workload at Rallies for example the erection and dismantling of the Club marquee.

Playmates, the club monthly newsletter, notifies Members of Club news, the forthcoming rally events and the advertisers who support the Club.  The Club exchanges newsletters with other Queensland Caravan Clubs and some interstate Caravan Clubs, and these are available for members to read at all Club Rallies.

The joining fee for Carousel Caravan Club is presently set at $25.00 per Caravan and Members pay an annual fee of $40.00 per caravan, pro rata.  The Club year is 1st July to 30th June.

The Club membership is currently limited to 45 vans.  You are required to attend three rallies, with your van, within twelve months, before you are invited to complete an application form to join.

There is a Club uniform of a T-shirt and hat which members can purchase.  Members would purchase their own brown shorts/pants or skirts.  Wearing of the uniform is encouraged.

Pet animals are permitted at Rallies, at the discretion of the Management committee. (With the exception of Caravan Parks where pets are not allowed).
