Welcome to the home page for the James McKinnie Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.About UsThe Squadron consists of approximately 60 members, almost evenly divided between Adult Members (Officers) and Cadets. The Squadron has two Flights, located in Vicksburg MS and Jackson MS. Squadron meetings are held as follows:Jackson MS FlightMAP CURRENT AIRPORT INFORMATION FOR PILOTS Monday nights from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (1845-2100 hrs) Cadets and Officers (Adult Members) meet in the Mississippi Wing Headquarters Building on the South Ramp of Hawkins Field (HKS) in Jackson, MS. The Wing HQ is located at 1635 Airport Drive (just off of Woodrow Wilson Avenue and adjacent to the Sonny Guy Golf Course). Vicksburg MS FlightMAP CURRENT AIRPORT INFORMATION FOR PILOTS Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (1830-2030 hrs) Cadets and Officers (Adult Members) meet in the Vicksburg Municipal Airport (VKS) Terminal Building on Hwy 61 South, approximately 6 miles south of I-20. The Terminal is located at 5855 US Hwy 61 South. Officers (Adult Members)The third Tuesday night of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (1900-2100 hrs) Officers (Adult Members) meet in the Mississippi Wing Headquarters Building on the South Ramp of Hawkins Field (HKS) in Jackson, MS.
