Pianist Judy Heraper has her bachelor's degree in Music from University of Michigan and Master's of Music from the University of Idaho. She is active as a piano teacher and accompanist in Sandpoint. In 1979 she founded the Festival at Sandpoint and in 1999 she founded the Festival's 5th Grade Outreach Program, where she is still actively involved. Cellist Louise Butler studied cello at the Curtis Institute of Music and Eastman School of Music and has performed many places worldwide including the Barbican and Royal Festival Hall in London. Along with Capriccio, she currently performs with Allegro, Baroque and Beyond, the Spokane and Yakima Symphonies and leads the Inland Empire Cello Ensemble. She also has an active private teaching studio in Spokane. Flutist Rachel Gordon holds undergraduate degrees in Flute Performance and Music Education from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. She has performed with the San Juan Symphony Orchestra, NIC Wind Symphony, the Festival at Sandpoint 5th Grade Outreach Program, various community orchestras in Colorado and northern Idaho. She is currently the instrumental music director for Boundary County School District and teaches private flute lessons from her Sandpoint studio. |
