Madam Kamala or better known as "Big Sis" in the house of 2 single mothers, a single lady & 3 children. Big Sis has her one & only child, Thiban. A bright one I would say. He is the man, the boss, the one who will, one day, lead them to a better life in the future. i really admire him so much. Still have his own determination to study hard and to achieve high ambition as a pilot even though they are struggling hard to survive in this unfair world. Madam Kamala, currently 51 years old became a single mother because her husband cheated her in the past. Now, working as a factory worker in one of a peanut factory in Sg. Siput. Everyday, she will walk with her son to send him to school and she goes to work. Because of the weight of her body, her knees are now not that strong enough. She had to take panadols almost everyday to ease the pain. She had 3 operations before, 2 to get rid of kidney stones, another one operated while she was giving birth to Thiban. However, in this condition, Big Sis can even cook her special "Chicken Curry". It was the best meal I ate cooked by a single mother ever! Anyhow, the purpose for me to tell you all about this is just to make us realize that if we feel that we are struggling so much, think again, there are so many more people that are struggling far more harder than us in order to survive. Some of us may not be able to help them in terms of money or directly, but what I am doing now is one of the methods or ways to help them. To open the people's eyes that they are people that needs our help. So, the least we can do is to include all the unfortunate people in our daily prayers. Remember, a small prayer from each of every one of us can make an enormous change to the world to a better place. God bless us all. Amen.

Mama is one of he oldest chimps alive. She was born on may 3, 1957 in Leipzig and has been living in Arnhem from 1971. She still plays a vital role in the group however as a peacekeeper. All the chimps respect her and the keepers take extra good care of her. Mama is featured prominently in the work of Frans de Waal, the famous dutch biologist who writes great books about primatebehavior. He did a lot of his observations in Burgers zoo, where Mama still lives.
