CASIMIRO B. AMADO - Central Falls 01:00 AM EST on Friday, February 6, 2004 CASIMIRO B. AMADO, 91, of Shawmut Avenue, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Laura (Barbosa) Amado. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, a son of the late Fortunato and Jesuina (Vicente) Amado, he came to this country 27 years ago, settling in Pawtucket before moving to Central Falls 19 years ago. Mr. Amado was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Pawtucket. Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Linda Costa in Cape Verde, and Jesuina Gomes, Mariana Simao and Isabel Alves, all of Central Falls; five sons, Alberto Pina of Boston, Manuel Amado and Armando Pina, both in Cape Verde, and Joao Amado and Fausto Barbosa, both of Central Falls; two sisters, Jesofina Vicente and Clementina Gomes, both of Pawtucket; and 35 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Madalina Martins, and brother of the late Carmino, Jose, Olavo and Carlos Amado, and Maria Rezendes. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home, 530 Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, High Street, Pawtucket.
