DAVIDE F. PEREIRA, 58, of Agricultural Avenue, died Friday at home.

He had been the companion of the late Deolinda Fortes Soares for many years. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was a son of Ana (Fernandez) Pereira of Providence and the late Eduino Aquino Pereira.

Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter, Ana F. Pereira, and four sons, Joao S. Pereira, Alexandre F. Pereira, Ulisses S. Pereira and Oliveiro F. Pereira, all in Cape Verde; two sisters, Paula Lopes of East Providence and Alicia Rodrigues in Cape Verde; and four brothers, Leal Pereira of Providence, Oliveiro Pereira and Alexander Pereira, both of Rehoboth, and Ramiro Pereira of Central Falls.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
