GONSALVES, John J. ''JoJo''
Born on September 15, 1930, in Cape Verde Islands, passed away on March 6, 2009, at age 78. Beloved husband of 46 years to Laura. Greatly missed by his daughter Candy Andris, son-in-law Tom, granddaughters Lauren and Erica, two sisters, Ana DeOliveira and Aurora Silva, niece, and nephews. John immigrated to the U.S. in 1949 and has resided in Sacramento for over 50 years. John worked as a carman for Southern Pacific Railroad for 38 years, retiring in 1988. The family invites you to attend a celebration of John's life on Friday, March 13, at 6:00 p.m. at Nicoletti Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Chapel at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento.
