Pawtucket ANA C. "NANAZABEL" DaCRUZ, 69, of Lorraine Street, a retired jewelry worker, died Sunday at home. She was the wife of Adriao DaCruz. Born in Brava, Cape Verde Island, a daughter of the late Julio and Isabel (Cipriano) Gomes, she came to this country 22 years ago, settling in Pawtucket. Mrs. DaCruz had worked at the Trifari/Monet Jewelry Co. of East Providence for 16 years, until retiring in 1995. She was a communicant of St. Edward Church. Besides her husband, she leaves five daughters, Maria DaLomba and Isabel, Ana Maria and Idilia Cruz, all of Pawtucket, and Eugenia Cruz of San Diego, Calif.; four sons, Marcelino Pina and John Cruz, both of Pawtucket, Rui Cruz in Texas and Claudio Curz in Cape Verde; 4 brothers; 6 sisters; 24 grandchildren; and 4 great- grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jos Cruz. The funeral will be tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home, 530 Smithfield Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Edward Church, Weeden Street.
