Angelo, 76, of Middle Street, died unexpectedly, Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Joaquim A. and Adelaide (Zego) Angelo. He was employed as a laborer for various construction companies in the Boston area. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Mr. Angelo was a World War II Army veteran, attaining the rank of sergeant. He was a member of the Cape Verdean Veterans. He especially enjoyed his friends at the Buttonwood Senior Center and at Bedford Towers. Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Angelo of Hingham; a son, Derek Angelo of Hingham; a niece, Jacqueline A. Robinson of Connecticut; a grandniece, D'Angela Robinson of Connecticut; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and many friends throughout the area. His funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. |
