He was the widower of Olivia (Ramos) Andrade. Born in New Bedford, Mass., he was the son of the late Victorino and Anna Andrade. He lived in Pawtucket since 1950. Mr. Andrade was an Army veteran of World War II; he served in Europe. He was a machinist at American Insulated Wire in Pawtucket until he retired in 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Angelina Andrade and Anna Andrade, both of Pawtucket; seven sons, Victorino Andrade of East Providence, John Andrade, Jerome Andrade and Manuel V. Andrade Jr., all of Pawtucket, Christopher Andrade of Phoenix, Domingo Andrade of Miami, and Anthony Andrade of Attleboro, Mass.; three brothers, John Andrade of Stratford, Conn., Joe Andrade of Hartford, Conn., and Joe Livarmento of Cape Verde; two sisters, Mary Silva and Rufina Paris, both of New Bedford; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 69 Quincy Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. |
