JAMES AMADO 

 WAREHAM -- James Amado, 87, of Onset died at home Tuesday, May 19, 2005. He was the widower of Dorothy (Pina) Amado. 
 Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Leon and Mary (Neves) Amado. He lived in Onset for many years. 
 He was an Army veteran who served in World War II. 
 Mr. Amado worked as a road construction laborer for many years until he retired. 
 Survivors include a stepson, Ronald Foggie of Onset; two brothers, Manuel Amado and Ed "Duddy" Amado, both of Onset; three sisters, Amelia Amado, Jeannette Amado and Olive Andrews, all of Onset; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 
 He was the brother of the late Frank Amado. 
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28). Burial will follow in Center Cemetery.
