FRANK ANDREWS 

 WAREHAM -- Frank Andrews, 85, of Wareham died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at home. He was the husband of Dominga "Peggy" (Barros) Andrews

 A lifelong resident of Wareham, he was the son of the late Antone and Flismena (Gonsalves) Andrews. 

 Mr. Andrews was a laborer for construction companies for many years until he retired. He was a member of BAC Union Local 3. 

 He was a corporal in the Army during World War II; he served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. 

He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and the Benjamin D. Cushing Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2425. He enjoyed flower gardening and shellfishing. 

Survivors include his widow; three sons, Reginald Mendes of Milford, Kenneth Mendes of New Bedford and Frank Andrews Jr. of Rochester; four daughters, Dorothy Finni of Wareham, Sheila Andrews and Diane Andrews, both of New Bedford, and Deborah Andrews of Wareham.; two brothers, John Andrews of Plympton and Antone Andrews of New Britain, Conn.; three sisters, Julia Texiera of Wareham, Alice Fernandes of Woburn and Jana Brown of Bloomfield, Conn.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. 

He was the father of the late Gwendolyn Andrews, and the brother of the late Benjamin Andrews, Domingo Andrews, Christine Gomes, Rose Gomes, Mary Lopes and Angelina Williams-Bey. 

His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church, High Street. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Route 28.
