CHARLES H. GONSALVES JR.   WAREHAM -- Charles H. Gonsalves Jr., 59, of West Wareham, died unexpectedly at home, Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002. He was the husband of Rosita E. (Schneiders) Gonsalves. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Hilda (Silva) and Charles H. Gonsalves Sr. Mr. Gonsalves entered the Air Force in 1964 and retired as a master sergeant in 1984. He was a life member of the Dudley L. Brown Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2846 in Onset and the American Legion. He enjoyed building model ships. Survivors include his widow; a brother-in-law, Paul Fitzgibbon of Groveland; and three nephews. He was the brother of the late Selena Fitzgibbon and stepfather of the late Roland Schneiders-Gonsalves. His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Church. Interment will be at the Veterans National Cemetery, Bourne. Arrangements are by the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway. |
