HENRY P. BARROS 


 NEW BEDFORD -- Henry P. Barros, 62, of New Bedford died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at home. He was the son of the late Henrique DeBarros and Maria F. Pires
 Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he lived in New Bedford most of his life. 
 He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. 
 Mr. Barros was formerly employed as a paper carrier for The Standard-Times. 
 He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. 
 Survivors include four brothers, Edward H. Barros and John H. DeBarros, both of Dartmouth, George H. DeBarros of Seattle, Wash., and Joseph H. Barros of New Bedford; three sisters, Hilda F. DeBarros and Ana Barros, both of New Bedford and Priscilla Crisostomo of Lynn; and several nieces and nephews. 
 He was the brother of the late Victor Barros. 
 His funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. 
 Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. 
 Arrangements are by Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St.
