CANYON VIEW FAMILY FACULTY ORGANIZATION (CVFFO) is dedicated to supporting Canyon View Elementary students, families, and CV staff. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by dedicated parent volunteers. We sponsor events, purchase curriculum items, and support programs that enrich each and every student’s educational experience. 100% of your donations go to support the students at Canyon View Elementary School.

Save time with EduKit

Take the stress out of school supply shopping by ordering a
school supply kit!  Canyon View Elementary has
chosen to offer EduKit School Supply kits for the
upcoming school year. The program is a time saving, simple way for you to ensure that your student has exactly what they need to start the year off right and to be successful throughout the year. You will no longer need to go from store to store in search of that elusive item that teachers are expecting. EduKit will take care of that for you! Your kit will contain the name brand items your teachers have chosen. To order, simply go online to
www.edukitinc.com
to place your order by May 31st. You will order your kit based on your child's grade level next year, and pay online through EduKit's secure website. Your child's EduKit

Help Us Support Our Students

The 2010-2011 Canyon View FFO is asking for each family to donate $100 per child in a 100% tax-deductible direct donation to cover the cost of MAINTAINING existing EXTRA CURRICULUM programs that provide each student with unique learning opportunities including FIELD TRIPS, SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES, ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE PROGRAMS AND SCHOOL FAMILY EVENTS.  If we recieve the $100 per student donation we will be able to continue to provide these  enrichment activities for our children.    All other fundraisers will be used to support new school incentives and improvements.     Donations may be made on-line.

  • What's Happening?
  • Last Day of School Water Day!

As per tradition, Water Day will be held the last day of school for all grades We have many generous volunteers from each grade to man the various SOAKING WET stations per grade level. All parents are encouraged to come about ten minutes before their shift and be ready to ensure a safe, fun
event!  Students need to remember to bring sunscreen, hat, towel, water shoes or sneakers, their bathing suit (of course), and a change of clothing. We are all looking forward to a very fun Water Day!

  Help Canyon View

student programs

while reducing

school fundraisers…

How?

You read correctly: the FFO is trying to reduce the number of fundraisers needed to support field trips, assemblies and other programs by taking advantage of something we all do: buy groceries.  Purchase a $10 Bashas’ Community Card at the Open House and recharge it when you go to Bashas’. The Bashas’ Community Card is like a gift card: you get dollar for dollar the amount you put on the card and Canyon View gets 6%.   It’s that easy!

Last year, only 15 Canyon View families used the Community Support cards consistently for their grocery shopping needs throughout the year, earning about $5000 for our students. Imagine the money we could earn if 150 families used the card?  Our goal is to increase Community Card use thus decreasing the need for more fundraisers.

Are you in? Look for volunteers selling the cards at the Open House. Please purchase a $10 card for you and any friends or family who frequent Bashas’, AJ’s Fine Foods, or Food City. Every time you recharge your card, you will be earning much-needed funds for our school.  Thank you!
