Christine and Jesse Jackson started a vegetable and flower garden located at the entrance of Canyon View's campus in 2008-2009. Canyon View students learn to plant, grow, and harvest. We are so greatful for all their effort.
The School Beautification and Garden Committee led by Jacqueline Chu-Montell, Barry Pryor, Christine and Jesse Jackson started the effort to save our trees by pruning off mistletoe infested mesquite trees inside the campus grounds and the parking lot. Four weekends were dedicated to this effort in 2008-2009. We are so greatful for all the volunteers who made our trees looking so beautiful and healthy.
