Please find attached the slides from the "Hot Jobs, Hot Skills for the Zombie Apocalypse" presentation delivered on May 8th at Canterbury HS.
Douglas Watt Associate Director, Organizational Effectiveness and Learning The Conference Board of Canada
What are the hottest jobs in Canada? What are the skills that make you irresistible to employers? What does it take to find and keep the job of your dreams (…or, perhaps, your children’s dreams)? If these questions have tweaked your interest you might want to join Doug Watt, on May 8th, at this year’s Parent Reaching Out Information Evening at Canterbury High School. Learn more about the current and future state of the Canadian economy, how changing demographics, natural resources, innovations, social media, and new technologies are affecting current and future employment opportunities. Discover why some skills, attitudes, and behviours are in top demand by employers, and how you can develop them for your own benefit. The evening will include a short presentation followed by a Q&A session |
