FRANCHISING A SUBWAY. SMALL BUSINESS AND FRANCHISE. FRANCHISE TAX BOARD FORM 540. Franchising A Subway
Subway in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee Subway is definitely one of the most widespread fast food chains in America, and the world. The enterprise began in Connecticut in 1965, and has rapidly spread until Subway can now be found in more than 26,000 locations in 84 countries. A "sub" can cost you a bit more here than you will pay for a sandwich at most other franchises, but in my mind it is also tastier, and perhaps even healthier. Each sandwich is made to order with a wide selection of breads, meats, cheeses, veggies, and condiments. The "subs" come in 6 inch or 12 inch sizes. You get more for your money with the foot-long sub, but it may be more than you can eat. Share it with your travel companiion and you will both save. Surveys have shown Subway to rank #1 in customer satisfaction. I love the Philly Cheese Steak on toasted honey nut bread. The macadamia nut cookies are good too. Subway, High Street, Stourport 1.2.08
Two photographs just over two years apart. The old established independent family business is replaced by an international chain (albeit a franchise). The saving grace for the town was that the shop, in a very prominent position, was not empty for more than a couple of weeks whilst the premises were being refit for their new use.
