Welcome New Recruits,  Great job by everyone who has put in lots of hours and effort to join the Patrol. There are only a few odds and ends to finish up and everyone will be certified Patrollers. Thanks to everyone for their efforts. I hope you all get out to the hill and have some great times helping others and enjoying the opportunity.

Training 2012, VP Education Richard Hornby put on an excellent year of training for returning Patrollers and New Recruits. This is a huge task, Dick makes it look easy even though it is not. So next time you see Dick say thanks and let him know we appreciate his efforts. Behind Richard are several Instructors and Assistant Instructors that really went all out this year. Thanks to these folks as well.

Special thanks to Dick for arranging this event. Your hard work and dedication make a big difference to Ski Patrol and FOT.

Canyon Ski Hill Management Donated several boxes of gear to Canyon Patrol. We sold it a the swap and generated $$ for supplies and equipment. Thanks very much to Canyon Managment. There were a few items left over that were donated to Safe Harbour Society.

Ski Swap  Thanks to all of the volunteers, consigners, customers and Red Deer Snowfest. The great support made the event a true success which raised funds for our local Patrols. Funds are used for equipment and supplies to assist fallen skiers and promote safe riding.
