See you next week, Mr Y. 9/10/08 Marysville Students: We all did our interviews for a first assignment. After brainstorming some good questions to ask, we all took notes during the interview process. Next week we will type the interview into InDesign, the software we will be learning to make the Yearbook with. If students have digital cameras, please bring them next week to possibly take pictures for the interview page. Make sure you bring the USB cable to connect to the computer to upload the pictures. "Being in yearbook for the past year and a half, has helped me with various aspects of my life. For one, I am taking a computer graphics class out at Butte College that requires the use of Adobe Illustrator. Having Adobe InDesign experience has helped in so many was, and a few of the power points on Typography have been very beneficial. Also, just being around the program and messing around with designs and type, has assisted me in advancing quite quickly in the class, and to have a better understanding of graphic elements, as well as type. I hope to be a successful graphic designer someday."
