Programs/Activities

 

Every day, campers will participate in a multitude of different activities.  Each activity will be taught and supervised by a qualified specialty instructor, whose primary goals are for the campers to be safe, have a good time, and learn.  This summer’s campers will come home every day shouting about all the fun experiences they had.

 


    SWIMMING

 
Every day, camper’s will have swim instruction in the morning and then free swim time in the afternoon.

 

    TEVA (NATURE)

 

   With 250 acres of land, there is no shortness of trails, sites, and learning to be had.  From hikes to learning survival skills.

 
 

    BOATING

  
  Camp Givah boasts an amazing Lake, campers will have the chance to use canoes, paddle boats, and row boats out on the lake.
 
 
(SPORTS)
 
  Every day campers will get a work on our various sports fields.  Campers will play basketball, volleyball, kickball, soccer, softball, Gaga, and many more sports.

 
 
 SHIRA (SINGING)
 
Camp Givah is known for it’s Ruach and Singing.  Campers will learn Jewish and Israeli songs and perform them at Onegs.

 

 

 OMANUT (ART)

 
 
What is camp without making arts and crafts.  Our amazing Art Director will have campers making all sorts of cool projects.


 RIKUD (DANCE)

  
    Campers will learn a variety of Israeli Dances.  They will perform them at their group’s Oneg Shabbat and for the world to see at the Song and Dance Festival.

 

LIMUD (LEARNING)


 
    Camper’s will learn about a variety of topics and how they relate to Judaism.  Topics range from Friendship to Israel to Helping out the Needy.
