Family & Friend Blogs Sandy & Jose Gonzalez Quotable Quotes: "I believe in the principle that you ought to act 'as if' you were the person you would like to become. As you do that, you will grow into that kind of person. Ultimately your very actions, your attitude, will lead you into being the kind of person that you want to be." Elder M. Russell Ballard, Ensign June 1983 "The question is not whether we will trip and fall but, rather, how will we respond? " Elder Joseph B. Worthlin Conference April 2008 "As we love our God, as we love our neighbor, we can be the recipients of our Heavenly Father’s love." (Thomas S. Monson, Ensign Jan 1998, p.2). President Harold B. Lee taught, “The most important of the Lord’s work that you will ever do will be the work you do within the walls of your own home” (Strengthening the Home [pamphlet, 1973], p. 7). "The habit of saying thank you is the mark of an educated man or woman." Gordon B. Hinkley | New Family PicturesI decided that the last family pictures turned out akward and ugly. I picked the best of the worst and still wasn't happy with the result. So recently we went and got all new pictures taken. Jordan and Braden did great and I absolutely adore our family picture. We also got new ones of the boys. My Sweet JordanJordan is my bouncing, happy, smiley, loving 4-year-old. He has had a wonderful summer and will be starting pre-school again the end of this month. He sure loves school! We have just secured Jordan a place on the Medicaid Autism Waiver. In a nutshell what that means as he will receive $25,000 worth of behavioral services each year. What a help that will be, and I'm hopeful that Jordan will be very receptive to the therapies. We are still continuing Occupational therapy and Speech therapy through the Children's Hospital. Every little bit helps! My Precious BradenBraden is growing up so quickly. I can't believe all that he is doing. He loves to talk and will repeat almost anything you say (well, at least he tries). Currently he says mama, dada, ball, doggie, car, bear, bye-bye, diaper, ought-oh, woo-who, and cheese. There may be others, but I just can't remember them right now. He has 4 teeth on top and 3 on bottom for a total of 7 teeth. We tried to get him to smile really big for the pictures, but it wasn't big enough for teeth.
Fun picturesThere's always time for a little horsing around. Jake in ACTION! Jake put these in my car while I was at work, so when I came out to go home they were the first thing I saw on Mother's Day!
