Teleca

The Teleca (sometimes known as the Cyclops) was made in Japan by Toko Photo in 1950. It took a small pair of opera glasses and added a tiny camera on top with a telephoto lens that matched the field of view. It took images of 10x24mm on 16mm film loaded into a special cassette and wound from there into another cassette as each picture was taken. It offered shutter speeds of 1/25, 1/50 and 1/100 second plus ‘B’, apertures ran from f/4.5 to f/16 and the lens focused from 10 feet to infinity.
