Peckham-Wray

The Peckham-Wray was made in 1955 by the Wray (Optical Company) Ltd., the makers of the Wrayflex series of SLRs. It was designed by Cyril Peckham, Chief Photographer of the Hawker Siddeley group of aircraft companies, for air-to-air photography, but later manufactured by Wray as a press camera that took 5 x 4-inch negatives in a Graphmatic back.  It is pictured here with its 135mm standard lens. A 9-inch telephoto and an 89mm wide-angle lens were also available.
