The Hapyucc is a Russian camera from 1961 and was so called because that was what the Cyrillic letters on its pentaprism appear to spell out. When it was made for export, it was renamed the Narciss. It was a single lens reflex, rare in that it used 16mm film to produce a 14 x 21mm image. The standard lens was a 35mm f/2.8 Industar or Vega (the lens seen here on the right). But an adaptor was also available, which allowed it to take the range of lenses designed for 35mm Zenit cameras, which is how it comes to be also shown seen here equipped with an 85mm f/2 Jupiter. |
