The Cambridge Toy Library is a non-profit community organisation run by an enthusiastic group of volunteers.
We are located in the local Community Centre at 22A Taylor Street, near the racecourse.
Our aim is to provide access to a wide range of toys, games and puzzles for children in the community, from birth to five years. A range of toys for special needs children is also available.
Our opening hours are:
Tuesday 09:00am - 11:00pm
Thursday 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Saturday 09.00am - 11:00pm
Hire: All toys can be hired for 2 weeks at a time for a low cost between 50 cents and 5 dollars. If you would like to extend your hire this can be done by texting, emailing the librarian or facebook messaging us. You may extend any toy once (A total of 4 weeks hire) before it needs to be returned. If you miss this return date we do have a late fine that comes into place the following session of $1.00 per item. If you know you can not make a session to return toys please get in touch via email or facebook.
Payment: The Toy library does not have an eftpos machine. We accept cash or bank transfers. When transferring please use your membership number and name as references.
Facebook : We are active on Facebook and often run competitions and Promotions so keep an eye out. It is also how we actively communicate so come join us by searching: Cambridge Toy Library.
Bouncy Castle: We have two fantastic bouncy castles for hire. They are designed for 1-4 year olds and only 2 at a time. They are $50.00 to hire with a $50.00 cash bond. These can be booked in advance with the librarian.
