Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of North Central WV, Calvary Southern Baptist is only one of two Southern Baptist churches in our county of 16,000 individuals. The church is conveniently located near the town of Belington which has a population of approximately 1800 people. Our church is within walking distance of the local elementary and middle schools. We consider ourselves blessed to be adding onto our church building as we work in an open mission field where only 1 in 4 individuals attend church. We are working hard to win children through strong VBS programs, weekly Children's Church ministries and soon, weekly Awana meetings. We strongly believe in teaching our members and evangelizing in our community.
