Applications Due SATURDAY JANUARY 26TH, 2008 @ 11:59pm

In order to Join CalTV you must be free between the hours of 7PM-9PM on Thursday evenings! That is when departments and all of CalTV holds mandatory meetings. 
 
You must also agree to check you e-mail twice daily. 

In order to work for CalTV you must be a currently registered UC Berkeley student. CalTV is an all volunteer organization. No one gets paid. Thus, maybe it’s not really working… CalTV is a fun group of people, and we work hard to help you turn your experiences with us into a job down the road. We also work hard to build a community where you can make friends. Because, hey, that’s why some people get involved, right?
 

A list of positions can be found below.If you are interested in joining CalTV, please e-mail the department director that is associated with the position you would like to fill. Please also send a copy of the e-mail to caltvapps@gmail.com 

 Please make sure the messages you send include your resume and a cover letter. The cover letter should explain why you would like the position and why you are qualified. Please state in the cover letter if you are free on Thursday evenings between 7-9 PM and if you agree to check your e-mail twice daily. Please include your cell phone number, e-mail address and student ID number in the e-mail.

CalTV is looking for people to fill the following positions:

Editor-Would use digital editing software (Final Cut Pro) to edit CalTV content. You should know how to use a digital editing program in order to apply for this job. If your experience is with a program other than Final Cut, that is fine.

Filmer-Would film CalTV content with a video camera.

Journalist-Would create TV style broadcast news stories. This person preferably should have some sort of public speaking or journalism experience.

Sports Reporter- Would create TV style sports reports. This person needs proven sports knowledge, and  preferably should have some sort of public speaking or journalism experience.
