Welcome to the Google @ Cal State L.A!
What's a Google?
"Googol" is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros.
The term was coined by Milton Sirotta, nephew of American mathematician
Edward Kasner, and was popularized in the book, "Mathematics and the
Imagination" by Kasner and James Newman. Google's play on the term
reflects the company's mission to organize the immense amount of
information available on the web.
Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Don't be evil.

It's almost the end of Fall 2008 and everyone are busy preparing for final examinations. I've contacted several student organizations related to business, mathematics, and engineering for potential of Google Talk at their respective meetings. They're including: IEEE, ACM, Hispanic Business Society, Business and Economics Society, Financial Management Association, and Mathematics Club. As far as now, I've been in contact with IEEE and ACM.
I'm looking forward to meet all of you! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Right after the final exam, I'll be leaving out of country for about a month for vacation, so contact me by email if you need anything.
Again, good luck all with final exams!

That's right! For the first time, Google is present at Cal State L.A! So what does that mean? A lot! The foremost important is obviously to increase the relationship between Cal State L.A. and Google. In addition, there will be some Google events at our campus that will introduce you a lot of cool Google products and culture.
