Position Description:

The Chief Technical Officers (C.T.O.s) are the people who really keep the club running behind the scenes. We are in charge of creating/maintaining/consistently updating the website, thinking of new ways to better incorporate technology into our club. (We are, after all, an engineering club) Notable ideas include: the new Officer pages, interactive photo galleries, and heavy utilization of google docs, etc. We also are in charge of creating/maintaining Cal Poly SHPE's youtube accounts, photobucket, introducing interactive polls for members' feedback. We create several videos (most importantly, the national conference video and the end-of-year video), create the weekly powerpoints, check out/set up equipment for each meeting and act as the overall club tech support. It's definitely a lot of hard work, late nights and a lot of time, but usually people in this position are CPE/SE/CSC, so with those coding projects, we're used to the lack of sleep. If you are interested in this position, consider your computer major as CTO in training. We Are Awesome! :-D
