The California Polytechnic State University Student Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers shall exist to:

• Educate and develop the Hispanic community through academic excellence
• Provide a support system for academic, professional and personal growth
• Increase the number of professional Hispanics through recruitment and retention, as well as being nationally recognized as and outstanding chapter.
