Calne Community Samba Band 

The Calnevalistas - are always happy to welcome new members, as either occasional guests or as long term members of Wiltshire's latest Samba Band. 
 
We meet each Wednesday evening between 7-15pm and 9-00pm at the Baptist Church Hall in Calne, except the last Wednesday of each month when the venue changes.   Due notice is usually given by telephone to all known members.

Use of instruments is free to all, as a community band, but donations towards the hire of the church hall are requested.  
 
Age limitation is between 11 and 111 years. Over 111s may be allowed only if they get a note from parents!  ^ _ ^

We have fun, but we also work hard and get results. 

We are open to invitations to play gigs in North Wiltshire. In 2006 we played at more than a dozen gigs, including several street carnivals.  In 2007 we have gone from strength to strength with Steve now taking the role of musical director, bringing more than five years of experience playing samba, we are now almost ready to perform five rhythms at any performance.
