 Homework is sent home on Mondays in your child's homework folder. The packet of homework includes a reading log and four skill sheets for practice. One skill sheet should be complete each night. Students should be reading for 15 minutes each night as well. They should be reading books that are "just right" for them. There are many ways to see if the book is "just right" for your child. Here are some helpful tips, if you can answer yes, then you have found a "just right" book:1. Is this book new to them?
2. Can they understand it?
3. Are there a few words that they don't know?
4. Do they read it smooth and choppy?
Students are to turn in their homework packet completed on Friday. If students have things that are not complete, they will comeplete it during Fun Friday.
