Books and Edited Volumes

I have edited volumes for the Manchester School (twice) and for the Scottish Journal of Political Economy.  The first was the outcome of a conference held on Inflation targeting in 2001 in London, the second was the outcome of a conference on Policy Rules held at Clare College, Cambridge in 2002 and edited a Special Issue of the Manchester School following the MMF conference in Cambridge in 2003.
In 2003, I helped edit a volume on dynamic macroeconomics and DSGE models in particular, Dynamic Macroeconomic Analysis, with Cambridge University Press.  It was co-edited with Sumru Altug and with Charles Nolan.  We were very fortunate to have the following contributors: William Brock; Jim Pemberton; Fanny and Michael Demers; Stephen Turnovsky; Matt Canzoneri, Robert Cumby and Behzad Diba; Philip Lane and Giovanni Ganelli; Cristina Arellano and Enrique Mendoza; Paul Söderlind;  Carl Walsh; and Gabriel Talmain. The book can be obtained from the following link: http://www.cup.cam.ac.uk/uk/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=9780521826686

In 2010, I became the Editor of a Series published by Cambridge University Press on Modern Macroeconomic Policy Making and the first volume will emerge in the Autumn of 2011, which will be called Interest Rates, Prices and Liquidity: Lessons from the Financial Crisis.

Finally, I now working on an intuitive guide to monetary policy, which will consider both principles and practice of monetary policy.  An illustrative chapter can be located here: http://ideas.repec.org/p/ukc/ukcedp/0815.html.  The chapter though is a poor illustration (!) as the book will aim to have no maths but may contain some pretty pictures.
