Caledonia is a colony of Steampunk Victorian Caledon, a virtual micronation that has been in existence for nearly four years, with a population of several hundred.

In this gentle 19th century styled world, one can be a visitor, a merchant, or a country or city dweller.  Or even landed gentry with your own wildlands, or homes and shops.  While some may create games, there is no "winning" except upon your own terms ~ it is as open ended as life itself.

Be a casual observer of all that goes on, or enjoy the social scene, or with a little creativity... seek your fortune as a merchant!

The advantage of a virtual world like this, is that you can be anyone you've always wanted to be, or do anything you've ever aspired to do, for pennies on the dollar and relatively little risk. 

Want to become a revered craftsman, or throw a huge formal charity ball, or be lord of your own huge country manor? 

Or perhaps a be mad scientist inventor, or officer in the Navy, or naturalist explorer?  Or perhaps you'd simply enjoy a whimsical, elegant place to entertain friends online, without having to vacuum?  It's all possible.
