- Start thinking about Latin State! This is a blast! It'll be April 16th-18th! Hang out with your friends and have a great 3 day vacation! Even though this is longer than Regionals, you won't want to miss this either!

  Welcome to the Cornerstone Academy Latin Club web site. Cornerstone Academy is a Christ Centered Classical School located in Gainesville, Florida. Last year (2007-2008) was our club's first year and we went to the Regional competition in Leesburg, Florida, and the State competition in Jacksonville, Florida. We had about 24 students go to Regionals and got 28 individual awards in 4 different categories and got 5th place overall in the Creative Category. We were very proud of this because we had a middle school only team whereas the other 9 schools at Regionals had both a middle and high school team.
  Last year our Latin Club had 29 members, from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Now we have about 35 students, from 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th grades!
