Community and Rural Development

 

The Aboriginal Leadership Initiative aims to identify and implement new ways to improve the quality of life for Aboriginal people and to enhance the relationship between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal societies.  It is a pilot project in three Nuu-Chah-Nulth communities - Ahousaht, Tseshaht and Ehattesaht – which they hope will have wider implications for social and economic development in First Nations elsewhere.
