AFFINITY GROUPS

The following organizations outside of Canada link the worlds of philanthropy with that of Indigenous Peoples:

International Funders for Indigenous Peoples (IFIP)
An affinity group of the Council on Foundations and based in Akwesasne, NY. IFIP was formed to provide a venue for communications and resource sharing among international funders of Indigenous peoples, and a voice for increased, dedicated funding for international Indigenous initiatives. It publishes an Indigenous Peoples Funding and Resource Guide, available for purchase.

Although US-focused, a number of their many resources and publications could be of value to Canadians working on these issues.
