The Christian Aid Walk Committee (CADSWALK), based in Meopham, ran a quiz on 7th October 2011 to support Christian Aid’s recently launched Maternal Health Partnership Project in Kailahun District in the east of Sierra Leone.  The project will improve facilities in two main hospitals, ensuring safe running water to all wards, provide a reliable electricity supply and two additional ambulances. The committee are pleased to report that £1,122 was raised at this event which will be quadrupled by the European Union.

Special thanks goes to Julie and Cliff Wilton of Hartley for all the hard work they put in devising questions with just the right degree of difficulty and for running the quiz on the night. This made it a very joyful evening.
