Mrs. Nim has graciously volunteered for the highest responsible position at our school as the school Director for the 2009 and 2012 school year. She comes with distinctive vision to improving school enrollment, raising academic standards, and setting new school policies to accomodate the ever demanding students of today. Our school is very fortunate in having Mrs. Nim taking on this role.
Mrs. Nim is one of the original founders of the Cambodian-American Community of Oregon, known as CACO. She is also a former CACO President, and a Cambodian school teacher for many years. She is currently a branch manager for the Oregon Department of Human Services in Portland. Mrs. Nim is also a housewife, married to Mr. Phal Nim, a successful business man, and a mother of two grown sons, Danny and Darrin Nim.
Cambodian school wishes to THANK its volunteer staffs of the 2011 school year, as well as the many volunteers who have given their time, effort, and dedication to school in the past. Without them, simply put, the Cambodian school wouldn't exist. Our sincere appreciation to all of them.
THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS | School is now accepting pre-enrollment for the 2012 academic year. New or returning students are encouraged to apply early to ensure seating as space are limited. This year, four class levels will be offered to accommodate all students with different Cambodian language capacities and ages. In addition, we will have a variety of cultural classes, one music class and two traditional dance classes.
Did you know that CACO's school has been keeping your attendance records and achievement grades for all these years? Yes we have.
Do you know that classes taken at the Cambodian School can be transferred to foreign language credits at your school districts or universities? Yes, they can.
