I am an advisor for AGS, and any student with a GPA of 3.0 or greater (or folks that are striving for this) are welcome to learn more about AGS.  One of my goals for AGS is helping students find their leadership voice on-campus in the surrounding community.  

Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS) is the full name of the California Community College Honor Society. AGS is not a fraternity or sorority, but is an honor society that encourages leadership abilities and emphasizes good character and judgement while upholding the purpose of AGS: to promote and to recognize scholarship. AGS also encourages participation in student affairs as well as campus and community activities. Active membership is recorded on transcripts.
