» Group Commander's Corner
Good day everyone, This is your Group Commander speaking. In recent weeks we have had a lot of events and changes in the unit. We have a new SASI (instructor), have competed in the Cadet Picnic competitions, and have attended the Miramar Air Show. In regards to our new instruction, Colonel Robert Hogan, I would like to formally welcome you to CA-935. I’m looking forward to a successful year and creating a lasting legacy that will be talked about for years to come. If you don’t know the new Colonel very well, I would encourage you to go and introduce yourself. At the cadet picnic on October 4th, everyone did a fantastic job of representing the core and Scripps Ranch. In addition, we won two trophies, of which I am very proud. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did and made plenty of new friends (Go Mira Mesa and San Diego High Schools!). Some final words, lets keep up the good work everyone. We’re almost at our first BDI/COM competition, and the rest of the school year goes by in a flash, so enjoy it.
