Byung-Ho Paul Cha (차 병 호)
BYUNG-HO (PAUL) CHA
Byung-Ho Cha received his Bachelor of Science degree (Suma Cum Laude) in Electronic Engineering from Sogang University, Seoul, South Korea, in Feb. 2004. He received his Master of Science degree in May 2006 and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Aug. 2009 at Signal and Image Processing Institute, Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering, Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. He joined Media Communications Lab (MCL) supervised by Prof. C.-C. Jay Kuo at USC from May 2005 to May 2009. He was a member of the Audio/Music Signal Processing (AMSP) subgroup in MCL. He has currently joined Samsung Electronics DMC R&D center as a senior engineer in Suwon, South Korea, since Aug. 2009.
His research interests include Multimedia signal processing, Multimedia quality assessment, Multimedia communications, Multimedia security emphasis on watermarking, fingerprinting, steganography, and forensic analysis.
