yesterday was one of those days AGAIN... i was about to leave for work yesterday when i get a call from my dad's day center... they tell me that he's sweating... his body temp is low 94F.... and his blood pressure has crashed 90/40... i inhaled... by now i know the drill... i call his doctor and ask if i can bring him right in... anything to avoid another ER... his doc is terrific and says he'll see us right away... in the 10 mins it takes me to get to the center... dad had already improved... when i walked in the door... dad trotted down the hall to see me... he was soaked... but seemed fine... on the 5 min drive to his doc, dad tells me that he feels fine and that he's wet because the folks at the center sprayed him with a water hose... ha! who says dementia can't be fun sometimes... the doc did a full work up on dad... EKG... blood work... you name it... he was fine... although his blood sugar was a bit low...apparently during my 10 min drive to the center, they gave him a couple of cups of oj... that got him back on track... but just barely... it should have spiked his blood sugar... it must have been really low... and he was in too bad of shape to get his usual breakfast at the center... never happened before... hopefully its just one of those odd things and won't happen again... by the time we left the doc, he was fine and wanted to get back to the center... i finally exhaled... i am looking forward to a week without an emergency...

well, Here am I (in the back ground if you hadn't notice since i'm totally hiding...) trying to assault the dishes from the rear... mwhaaaaa that'll teach them!! outtake because the expression wasn't 'Extreme enough' ( My thougts.. were it the right one?)
