Page about me Journaling: My name is Patricia Helen Martin and I’m 49 years old. My maiden name is Smith. My nickname is Patti. I am a daughter, sister, wife, friend, aunt, mother & mema. I am sweet, caring, loving, spoiled, thankful, lucky and blessed but I also have the flip side of each. I met the love of my life in highschool and we married during my senior year. We’ve been married 32 years on October 16th and have 2 children. I had our first child at 20 and our second child at 22 years old. Our son is 29 and just bought a house with his fiance. Our daughter is 3 months from being 28 and lives with us, along with her boyfriend. We now have 2 grandsons, one is our daughter’s son (J) who just turned 6 and the other is her boyfriend’s son (A) who will turn 5 in December. I’ve been a stay-at-home Mom, chef, laundress, chauffeur, gardner, teacher, dishwasher, gadget fixer, dog & cat caretaker and more. We have lived in the high desert for 23 years and bought our first house in 1985. My Dad has lived with us since 1991. We have a 1 year old female boxer named, Pebbles. Her affection and love melts your heart. I call her my dog even though she’s ours. I have lived in California my whole life but traveled when I was younger with my family during my Dad’s drag racing years, which is how he made his living. I love traveling with my handsome & loving husband, enjoying the time we spend together. My family is important to me and I love every minute I spend with them but I also enjoy being with my husband alone, too. But part of me loves being on my own in my scrapspace where I get lost among the paper, my ATG, prismacolor pencils, stamps, embellishments and glue. I create and am spired by my fellow scrappers everyday. My favorite place to be on my computer is All Moments Remembered, an online scrapbook store and forum owned by Stacey. I’ve developed lasting relationships with my cyber friends that have become family since I joined AMR in December 2007. If we’re at home I’m in one of four places. 1. Spending time with my family 2. Spending time with my Dad 3. At my computer spending time with my cyber family. 4. Playing with my dog. I started a blog this year where I’ve posted my creations and family news. I named it Scrapping Is My Passion. I’ve had over 5,000 visitors since I started posting. I’m involved in challenges, contests, crops and scrap chat hours. This is who I am. My dishwasher. I bought this online years ago and have never had it plugged in. It is in pristine condition on the inside, as the woman who received it as a gift viewed it as an insult. You don't think I wash my dishes???
