 Immigration.

Ann Gerber is a retired teacher, who for 37 years taught various levels of students in different places around the world and at home, most recently at ASU teaching about immigration and American society. She will help us to understand why the United States is home to approximately 11 million people who live here without authorization. She will lead a discussion with the congregation fueled by some provocative statements about immigration and immigrants, e.g. "anyone can immigrate to the U.S. if they're just willing to wait in line." Ann Gerber serves as the Chairperson for the Mission and Outreach Commission at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Valle Crucis.
