Well he was supposed to walk, but he kept running because I had cheese... I was thinking a lot about how much our life ends up falling into routines. The most insidious of them all of course is the work day. If you think how much time the average person spends doing the same thing everyday and eating up all their time in the name of earning a living it's kind of sad. I used to laugh at how my parents were so set in their ways but as I age I can now clearly see it happening to me too. I of course was thinking about this as I was walking Floyd on one of my predetermined walking routes. I can walk anywhere I want but for some reason I end up taking one of the same three routes everyday. We do them so often I am sure Floyd could walk himself. and voila, you have the inspiration.

It seems I've gotten a slow start to 2009, but I am getting back into the routine of things. Wedding planning has picked up like a snowball and I will have a shower this weekend, and finalize my Texas venue on Monday. I got my dress last week and I think it's all really coming together. I've been on plan 4 days today and plan on going to the gym at least once this week, despite some sudden knee pain. I had dance last night and will get on the treadmill before I leave for Texas on Saturday. I regained the weight I'd lost over the holidays, but I'm not going to dwell. Just stay positive and keep working. And I'm already down 3 pounds this week. Water is the key.
